Graduation…
I can’t believe graduation is sooo close. I am so excited for the summer ahead and years ahead.
Looking back on all my schooling, I can’t believe all of the things I’ve gone through, all of the people I’ve met, all of the places I’ve visited, all my friends I’ve made. I really am truely blessed for the people in my life.
and one day everything changes…
Here’s the current issue, my friend is pregnant by a guy who claims he loves her, but has yet to make a commitment to her. They dated in highschool, but now 5 years later, they are still “hooking up”. Obviously the proper precautions weren’t taken, and now she is pregnant. She is obsessed with him…
It got me thinking about how selfish some people end up well. The boy is just gunna leave her. Everyone sees it coming a mile away, but maybe he’ll prove everyone wrong.
The thing that gets me the most upset about this situation is the fact that she won’t even consider adoption as an option. In all honesty, if I were to become pregnant, I would consider adoption more than anything. Maybe it’s because my baby sister is adopted, or maybe its because I am thinking logically and rationally about the best possible thing for this child, but either way, I wouldn’t rule that out as quickly as she did.
I personally think that the only reason she is keeping this baby is so that she has a lifelong connection to the guy, which is really sad to say. I think that this is what she has been longing for, and now that she has a reason to keep him around, she’s going to use it.
Sorry for the rant, just trying to be a good friend when I am 100% opposed to what she is doing.

This is a day in the life of Caroline Hurley.
Ever sit back and look at your life and realized how blessed you are? I feel like I’m exactly where I need to be. I have great friends, a wonderful FUNCTIONAL family, and a great life plan. I am graduating this May and I have goals as to what I want to be and do with my life. I am super blessed and just reflecting today. Oh, and by the way, I love Julian.
